Oberlist is designed to make day-to-day information more easily accessible to the Oberlin community.
The front page http//♥.oberlist.com/ is the newest and shiniest part of Oberlist, but before that front page existed Oberlist already provided a redirection service. The system is due for an update, but it’s still very powerful.
You type into your address bar something that you’re looking for as “oberlist.com/SomethingThatIAmLookingFor” and if our scripts can figure out what page you’re looking for, they’ll redirect you straight there. If they have trouble, then they’ll offer you a list of suggestions, or just a way to search the oberlin website yourself.
For instance, if you type, “oberlist.com/osca” then you will be sent straight to OSCA’s website. If, however, you type, “oberlist.com/co-op” then you will receive a list of pages including: Bike Co-op, Film Co-op, et cetera.

For added convenience you can drag the button above to your bookmarks bar. When you click on it, a popup will ask you where you want go and you can type that keyword right into the box.
And, of course, there are more features to come.
Oberlist was created by current Oberlin student Harris Lapiroff. It's powered by DOM Scripting, Yahoo! Pipes (Pipes is great for rapid development, but I advise against its permanent use), PHP, jQuery, and a large serving of homegrown magic.
Thanks to everyone who helped me test it and offered feedback.
